ARCH is pleased to announce that we will present an exclusive tour of the Eliel and Eero Saarinen designed A.C. Wermuth home on Saturday, October 7, 2017. Completed in 1942, the Wermuth house is one of only seven private residences designed by the world renown architects. A.C. Wermuth served as the contractor for a number of buildings at the Cranbrook Academy in Michigan and First Christian Church in Columbus, Indiana, arguably some of the most famous designs completed by Eliel Saarinen. The home has never been open to the public before, making this truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the work of a master.
Tours are scheduled in three time slots, 10 am, noon and 2 pm. Transportation to the home will be provided by bus, leaving from the Concordia Theological Seminary parking lot thirty minutes before each tour begins. 9:30am, 11:30am, and 1:30pm respectively.
