Arts United is embarking on a project to address an urgent and critical need: the preservation and activation of the Arts United Center, the community’s Louis Kahn-designed, world-famous landmark. Like most 50-year-old buildings, the theatre needs significant renovation to meet and exceed community standards for guest, staff, volunteer and performer experience. ARCH is featuring this project on its lecture series because the building is an important part of our built landscape and the project is one of the city’s most important historic preservation projects. Arts United COO Miriam Morgan will present the project. Part of ARCH’s Fun & Free Lecture Series supported by generous funding from Arts United, the Foellinger Foundation and the Sledd Foundation. The public is welcome. Information about ARCH and ARCH memberships will be available, but you do not have to be an ARCH member to attend and enjoy the presentation.
