Discover the history of your home or commercial building
Consulting a variety of historical records, ARCH will provide you with a narrative history about your residential or commercial property to include information on architectural style, the first known owners or residents, first known use, and approximate date of construction if such information is found to be available.
The cost for a residential building history is $75 and $175 for commercial histories. An hourly rate of $30 will apply if additional information on subsequent owners or uses is desired. This is a great first step in recognizing and appreciating the history of your property!
This history on the commercial block at 1434-1436 Wells Street, is just one example of the stories that we can uncover through our research: http://bit.ly/wellsstarch
Free—ARCH holds an extensive research collection in our offices at the Rankin House. If you are conducting your own research, you may contact our staff to pull files for you at no charge. Copies can be made in our office; the first 5 pages are free and any additional pages are 10 cents per page.
